Jennifer Watkins
Jennifer holds a Master’s of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Health Sciences in Manhattan, New York, and has practiced in New York and New Jersey for 15 years.
She is a licensed acupuncturist and nationally certified herbalist in New York, New Jersey, and California. Jennifer is also a nationally certified Diplomat of Oriental Medicine with the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).
Jennifer fuses her experience as a Chinese medicine physician, herbal medicine practitioner and educator, nutritional and culinary approaches, lifestyle advisement, and Whole Woman training into her treatments. She is focused on women’s health and has extensive experience treating a wide range of patients and working with diverse populations.
Jennifer strongly emphasizes self-care and cultivates an atmosphere of respectful healing unique to every patient. She fully believes that every patient is his or her own best doctor.
Jennifer treats patients virtually and combines coaching with education. She treats patients suffering from chronic and acute pain syndromes, prolapse, digestive disorders, fertility and post-birth healing support, menopausal symptoms (peri and post included), menstrual irregularities (including painful/heavy periods), anxious and depressive symptoms, urinary difficulties, chronic fatigue, and more.
In addition to working one-on-one with patients, Jennifer has been teaching classes to the public about self-care and tutoring students of Chinese medicine for over 15 years.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. Her hobbies include being a constant student, practicing the culinary arts, reading, and spending time with family.
