Ana Velasquez
Professional Contemporary Dancer and Certified Whole Woman Practitioner
I'm currently studying Fascia and Dance with A. Röttgerkamp at the BodyMind Academy in Brussels, Belgium.
Being a professional contemporary dancer has, most of all, taught me to listen to my body. It is through this path, the path of movement and proprioception, that I intend to assist women of all ages and backgrounds to work consciously towards restoring and maintaining pelvic health.
Christine Kent’s rich and unique approach has empowered me on many levels when facing the various physical challenges my profession requires, especially after becoming a mother. Sharing and passing on the Whole Woman paradigm has been very dear to me ever since I became a practitioner, not only to women who experience concrete pelvic organ challenges but also to younger women and teenagers.
I'm fascinated by the human body and love observing how our bodies speak. Trusting that there are many tools we can explore and implement ourselves in our daily lives is the first step I invite you to take, as well as learning how to navigate through the conventional medical field and its guidelines. I strongly believe that posture and conscious movement matter much more than we tend to think and look forward to working with you in Brussels, Belgium, or online.
Consultations are possible in Spanish, French, English, German, and Dutch.
