Ruth Ever
I am a public health practitioner who holds a Masters in Public Health degree and I have over 30 years of experience as an educator, trainer and prevention specialist. I love using the natural, research-based, non-invasive techniques of the Whole Woman approach to address pelvic discomfort and bladder issues. After going through my own frustrations and fears with prolapse issues, I found Christine and Whole Woman 10 years ago and immediately understood that there are safer and healthier choices for women, if they can only access them. I am committed to helping women better understand and then shift how their pelvic organs are supported through solid explanations, posture, breathing, exercises and emotional support. Being a lifelong health educator means that I know how to explain things clearly, focus on what works, and understand the importance of good science without losing sight of the magic and wonder of this world and our bodies.
Six years ago I broadened my Whole Woman work by partnering with a certified Feldenkrais practitioner and an EFT (tapping) practitioner. We started offering workshops and classes on: Bladder health that is very practical and also incorporates emotional health (with tapping); 50-minute classes that include WW exercises combined with short Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement (ATM) sessions to ground the WW work that were recorded and are available by the month; and a 3-session workshop focused on the older woman. You can visit my website or reach out to me if interested in any of these.
As a Psychosynthesis trained and certified life coach, and Group Peer Support© certified facilitator, I understand that sometimes our emotions, old traumas or psychologically stuck places can get in the way of shifting issues around the pelvis and bladder that go beyond physiology. I can work with your whole self to find relief from pelvic prolapse issues or generally get you back on track to a more positive and forward-thinking space.
I offer free short consultations to see if we are good fit and am happy to help women figure out what they need, if I’m not your best fit. I am a proud mother to two adult children who were both born at home, and I live in rural Western Massachusetts and offer my work virtually on Zoom.
