First Aid for the Post-Hysterectomy Woman

Hysterectomy is the second most common surgery performed on women (behind C-section). Over 600,000 are performed in the US alone every year. Gynecologists treat hysterectomy as routine. However, however, as is all too common with medicine, women are virtually never told the real risks of the surgery.

One of the most common complaints after hysterectomy is bladder or rectal prolapse (cystocele or rectocele). Shockingly, hysterectomy is often touted by doctors as a "cure" for prolapse, in spite of follow up research which shows that women are five times more likely to experience prolapse than the woman who still has her uterus.

If you or your mother, aunt, sister, niece, or friend has had hysterectomy and is suffering from post-hysterectomy symptoms, you are at the right place at the right time.

You are about to discover a new video course from Whole Woman designed specifically and exclusively for the post-hysterectomy woman.

In the early years at Whole Woman, my focus was on women who still had their uterus.

After many years of study, I had accurately described female pelvic anatomy, and unmasked the erroneous anatomical perspective put forth by gynecology.

Since then, I have deeply researched and correctly described post-hysterectomy anatomical problems, and why the Whole Woman work is especially important to this group of women. This is unique information you will find nowhere else.

The fact is that women are virtually never told all the potential risks of hysterectomy before or after the surgery.

At Whole Woman, our many post-hysterectomy customers come to us typically because pressure and bulging of their prolapsing vagina, and frequently incontinence, is making them miserable.

But these are the least of their worries.

The challenge for the post-hysterectomy woman is that her uterus, the hub of the pelvic organ support system, is gone. So managing prolapse requires special measures.

The most serious risks are from vaginal vault prolapse or worse, evisceration caused by failure of the closure at the top of the vagina. In some cases, the surgeon will leave the cervix intact, however, due to loss of blood circulation, the cervix will commonly fail to survive and a follow up surgery to remove the cervix is likely.

What I have provided in my video course is what the post-hysterectomy woman can do to minimize the impacts of prolapse on her quality of life, and more importantly protect herself from vault prolapse and/or evisceration.

The goal here is to gain as much control over the pelvic organ support system as possible. Accomplishing this requires specialized education.

The purpose of this letter is to introduce you to my video training course, First Aid for the Post-Hysterectomy Woman.

  • You will learn about the changes in your anatomy as a result of your surgery so that you know how to manage your pelvic organ support system for maximum comfort and security.
  • You will learn the potential risks associated with hysterectomy and how best to avoid them.
  • You will learn the dangers of hormone replacement therapy so you can make the best decisions for your long term health.
  • You will learn a specialized exercise program tailored to a wide range of physical capabilities to help you restore stability to your pelvic organ support system.
  • And I will show you several lifestyle techniques that will enrich your quality of life.

Here is what is included in the video course…

Six core modules:

Module 1 - Pre- and Post-Hysterectomy Pelvic Anatomy - Few women really understand what anatomic changes are involved in hysterectomy. This is essential understanding to optimize your quality of life. Hysterectomy is a multi-billion dollar industry in the US and around the world. The medical establishment is well aware of the many post-hysterectomy health challenges, and stands ready with more drugs and dangerous surgeries as their only solutions. With this module, you’ll be well prepared to make the best decisions for your life and health.

Module 2 - Stabilizing the Post-Hysterectomy Pelvis - The uterus is the hub of the pelvic organ support system. When it is removed, the entire pelvic system is destabilized. Fortunately, with this module, you’ll learn there is much the post-hysterectomy woman can do to stabilize her pelvic interior.

Module 3 - Post-Hysterectomy Surgical Repairs - Sometimes additional surgery becomes necessary. In this module you will learn which surgeries may be beneficial and which surgeries are clearly dangerous.

Module 4 - The Female Hormone Replacement Industry - This module explores the dark side of “hormone replacement therapy” and you’ll understand why the post-hysterectomy woman is better off without it.

Modules 5A through 5D  - The Whole Woman Post-Hysterectomy Workout - I have designed a safe, yet challenging exercise program specifically for the post-hysterectomy woman. There are both standing (more challenging) and sitting (easier) programs to help women with a wide range of physical capabilities. Included is a description of Whole Woman toileting to facilitate the necessary process of elimination without putting your pelvic organ support system at risk.

Module 6 - Living Well after Hysterectomy - In this module, we will explore the gentle and specialized self-care that can make all the difference in your post-hysterectomy quality of life.
