heavy feeling of rectocele


The worst part of my pelvic floor prolapse is my rectocele. I do not like the feeling that my bottom is falling out! I try not to dwell on it because it creates anxiety and this affects my sleep.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions about how to manage these unpleasant physical sensations? I'm trying to put it out of my mind and this is difficult since I can feel it all the time.



I can totally relate to you unfortunately. The only thing that has given me a little relief is the v2 supporter. If I didn't have it I wouldn't be able to do anything like grocery shop, do the dishes etc. because my butt would start to ache from so much pressure I feel. After I have this baby (my second is on the way) I am going to try a pessary because a couple women with rectoceles on here have said it really helped with the pressure. I have no other problems from my rectocele either just the falling out feeling. Have you tried the v2 supporter yet?
